Noah and I had a great time on our date night, his Christmas gift to me. We made a stop at the Peanut Store (he informed me boys don't like flowers as much as girls.... :) and he took me to his favorite restaurant - 84 East. Noah is such a wonderful, fun-loving, and kind boy - loved spending the evening with him!
As always - pizza with olive oil and pepperoni
'World's Smallest Sundae' - adorned with a cashew from the Peanut Store
Thanks, Noah, for a great evening!
Bad lighting, so the pic isn't great. But I had a great time with these two great gals!Tina, me, Lisa
Abby, Sophie, and Noah turned 8 years old on Sunday! How thankful we are for them!
Cards from Amelia :)
The kids celebrated with their classmates on Saturday, building rollercoasters in a science lab at Hope College. Lunch with family and friends followed the party and then gifts and cake at home.
On Sunday, the kids brought the gifts from their classmates and donated them to the young patients at the Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids where they were born. It's a great tradition and Abby, Sophie, and Noah give so cheerfully.
More birthday pictures.....
Sunday night Super Bowl party at Bob & Kristi's in Rockford - good game, yummy food, and great friends.
Want an ice cream drink? Ask Clare - he's a pro!

Well, my camera was with me and still I forgot to take pictures of our SH small group gathering on Friday night and a birthday lunch for my friend Ruth. I have pictures of Ruth and that group of friends from every year over the last three decades....crum. Here's the pic from last year....
Tonight there were seven deer in our backyard. I watched them for a full half hour as they moved from the woods to the field. The view was better than the picture, which was taken through the window.
