Long Time No See!

LOTS of pictures, but not much time....so quick updates on the last five weeks:


Celebration of my friend Ruth's birthday with a brunch at our house.

Abby, Sophie, and Noah turned 7 years old on February 5. They celebrated with their class of 26 1st graders at Hope College where they learned to make airplanes, hovercraft, and bottle rockets. Then it was off to lunch at Froggy's with Uncle Steve & Aunt Lynn and their family. The kids asked all of their classmates to bring a new, unwrapped gift for the children at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital (where Abby, Sophie, and Noah spent several weeks after birth). They delivered the gifts on Sunday to a very grateful staff member at the hospital.

Our niece Sara was married on February 18. It was a wonderful ceremony but I have not one picture of the bride and groom other than at the rehearsal dinner (which was fabulous, by the way!). Bummer about no pictures at the wedding.....

I spent a wonderful day with Tori on a day off from school! We had lunch together and then painted some artwork before stopping for snacks.

I had a most wonderful weekend in Holland with my sisters! Girlfriends Weekend - put it on your calendars for the first weekend in March of 2012!

Beckie had another surgery on a finger she injured last June. We found the button and 'decorations' interesting...
